Marcia Lynx Qualey founded the site "Arabic Literature (in English)," popularly known as ArabLit, in 2009. Since then, she has been the main force behind editing the site, which provides reviews, events listings, and daily coverage of issues that affect writers across the region. She also writes about Arabic literature and Arab writers for The Guardian, Al Jazeera, and Qantara, among other publications.
