Gigi James is the President of The Ishmael Tree, a boutique publishing house in New York City. Prior to becoming a book publishing and media marketing professional, Ms. James was a litigation paralegal (often focusing on copyrights and intellectual property) which led to authoring and television writing. She is currently a member of Association of American Publishers’ Rights and Permissions Advisory Committee whose primary responsibility is education and training programs including:
