The Editor in the Arab World BEGRÄNSADE

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

The Arab publishing houses suffer from a lack of editors which has great consequences. In fact, most publishers rely on the author himself to achieve the duty of the editor which reflects a negative trend in the Arab world. Indeed, what contributes in the dissemination of this phenomenon is that many publishers in the Arab word publish books at the expense of the author, like they are just printing houses. An editor plays a critical role in choosing the right works to publish and shape the language for P&R of the book. This discussion will adress the important issues from different perspectives.
