English is a popular language spoken in many parts of the world. Many schools, both public and private, use English as a medium of instruction. But for some students, English is a second (or third) language. Is learning a second language the same as how we learn our native language? What impact does this have on how schools teach second languages? In this presentation, some best practices for promoting bilingualism and teaching English will be explored.
