As the Senior Director of Content Partner Strategy, David is primarily responsible for developing Microsoft's strategy with Education Publishers and Content Solution Partners WW.He is part of Chris Bunio's Strategic Partnerships Team in the WW Education Indusrty Group.

David works with Publishers focused on Schools, Continuing and Higher Education to ensure Microsoft provide the Education sector with what it needs. This is further enhanced by leading a cross group publisher team within Microsoft to ensure they are providing a " One Microsoft" approach across many business areas i.e. Windows, Office, Cloud, Partners, in Learning, Xbox, Communications and Media, Phone, Microsoft Research, Developer, etc.

At Microsoft we want to ensure that Publishers who are interested  to work with our productivity and platform solutions that thier experience is as easy as possible. Publishers typically need assistance as they develop more digital learning objects, game based learning, Xbox,Communications ands personalised delivery to address the specific needs of the institution from local through to nationa lrequirments.

With over 30 years' experience in the IT industry, David brings to his current role an in-depth understanding of both channel solution sales and how to effectively work and develop partners besides a strategic approach to drive the right outcomes.

Prior to being appointed to his current role, David led the overall efforts with Transaction Partners and Solution Education Partners W.W. Before this he was a partner developer for Microsoft vendors. David joined Microsoft with the acquisition of Great Plains, where he held a number of positions within the Sales organization, culminating with thposition of Vice President of Sales for Europe.

In his spare time, David is involved with Rotary International; a W.W charity based service organizatinon. He is a keen cyclist, golfer and also enjoys gardening and walking. He and his wife Wendy have two children, one who works as a dancer in France for the Disney Corporation and the other is a costume coordinator in the film industry.
